Candidate Euridice Specification
The EURIDICE initiative is defining FHIR Implementation guides representing the data models for EHDS priority category data. This “API” Implementation guide inherits these data models, and aims to define the exchange patterns for EHR system interaction with these data models – for example: how a consuming EHR system can search and retrieve a Patient Summary FHIR document from a producing EHR system.
This specification is aiming for a first draft release by end of year 2025. To take part in the development of this specification, consider attending HL7 EU Workgroup Meeting in Cologne December 1-5, and check the HL7 EU Confluence for regular project meetings starting in early 2026.
